Command shape

relinker [options] <input.elf> <output>

Linux ELF is the default. --windows selects PE output. Merely naming a file .exe changes neither the format nor host libraries.

The preparation options

  • --to-intel: converts supported AMD-only instructions found in the input; runtime-generated instructions remain a separate limitation.
  • --registry: emits import registries for a later audit.
  • --windows-diagnostics: adds Windows dependency diagnostics; requires Windows output.
  • --sce-module-path: selects the parent of module directories. Relative paths resolve from the process working directory.

Use an import audit before launch

Pass the generated registries and matching built library/module directories to upstream tools/import_audit.py. It distinguishes implemented, stub, absent and module imports. Keep companion files beside registries. Read the complete upstream example before assembling paths.

Keep debugging flags out of normal setup

Upstream marks several skip/lazy-binding options deprecated and unsuitable for general use. This builder omits them. Use game-specific patches only when the original test documents them; a generic checkbox cannot reproduce an integration branch.
